Following the noble ideology of the founding fathers, as envisioned in the motto-
“Sraddhavaml Labhte jnanam ” the institute is progressing by leaps and bounds.The Vision, Mission and objectives of the college have been visualized by the
founders of this institute which started/established as private college named
Adarsh College Safidon in July, 1976 and later, in Jan. 1980 handed over to Govt.
of Haryana with a view promoting education at the small town Safidon and its
surrounding rural area. The mission of the college is to inspire students to lead life
according to Indian ideals. The objective of the college is to encourage the
students for developing sensitivity and sensibility as needed for better human
beings: “Under Christanam Vasudev Kutumbham”. The curriculum is prescribed
by the affiliating university i.e. CRSU , Jind. After this, a
General Assembly is arranged with all the students admitted to the college in
which the plans for effective teaching of the said along with the various other
activities for like NSS, NCC, Athletics, Legal Literacy cell, Women cell etc. are
told enlarge to the students. The students are given the facility of availing the
books from library book bank and placement cell, etc. The extension lectures are
arranged where the eminent scholars/experts impart knowledge to the students.
The aims and objectives as visualized by the Govt. of Haryana is to import quality
of education to all the students coming from diverse backgrounds the institute
focuses on preparing responsible, accountable, sensitive, sensible and employable
students who pass out after the completion of their college education.
