National
Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is a new scheme of Government of
India to provide financial support to establishments undertaking the
apprenticeship training. It was launched on 19th August 2016.
College offers apprenticeship to the students
as per provisions of NAPS Act.
The apprentice are engaged every year in the college according to the guidelines of skill development and industrial training department.
In 2024 -2025 four apprentice of trade COPA were engaged .
At
present four apprentice of trade COPA are working under this scheme in Government College
Safidon. (2025-26)
